- I always wanted to be an architect. I have binders full of building plans I drew starting from when I was seven and binders of rooms I designed, each piece of furniture carefully selected and then cut out of the Sears catalogue and taped into place. When I was 16, I tried autoCAD and hated it, and my architect career ended abruptly. But I still like to pretend I could be one.
